Visiting A Miniature Show

On January 20th 2018 , my daughter and I got to attend the Southern California Tom Bishop Miniature Show in Anaheim. What an experience! This was the first time that I myself got to go to this event; Briana has been to it twice before.

I have to  say it was a little overwhelming. Who knew you could put so many different miniature items in one room. The first 30 minutes was spend just walking around and looking at everything.  It made me come to the conclusion that we have a few to many projects and houses that we where looking to find something for!

Since we make a lot of our own items, I as on the lookout for things that we can’t make and of course supplies for making new items. We hit the jackpot in the supply department!

Briana has been wanting to try food molds for polymer clay, and Stewart Dollhouse Creation was the place for lots of clay working goodies. She will be busy creating new food, to add realism to both of the dollhouse kitchens!

Firefly International was a treasure trove of supplies for our upcoming project. With all selections of small print fabric and tiny trims, it allowed us to make some really cute selections.

We also found lots of little items from Vilia Miniatures, Wright Guide Miniatures and D. Sierck Ltd to add clutter to our houses.

Overall it was a fun experience into the world of miniatures!!
